It's always exciting when a wedding I work on makes a feature with one of our many amazing wedding media platforms we have here in the UK. Mostly because it's just so lovely to see all that hard work, planning, excitement and joy that I know the couple went through is now going to be passed on to inspire so many new couples.
For Danielle and Ben that's exactly what their Love My Dress feature is all about, scrolling through the pages of dreamy shots by Georgina Harrison it's hard not to get filled with blissful thoughts and ideas of what you'd pinch for your own day.
You might remember a couple...
I first chatted to Danielle around the end of March 2020, back whilst we were all still in Lockdown 1, which feels soooo long ago now. If only we knew then what we do now! Anyone else remember thinking it might of all blown over in a couple months at the most? Over a year later, with a lot of patience and careful planning, Danielle and Benjamin were thrilled to finally tie the knot on the 1st of July 2021.
With original plans of a romantic Italian destination wedding, Danielle quickly shifted gears as the pandemic took hold and wisely chose an equally desirable second option, the Fig House...
About twice a year I get to work for Katy of What Katy Did Next. I always get excited when she sends me a message to ask if I am available for a photo shoot for her latest collections.
Katy has an amazing talent of creating some fabulous creations in headpieces as well as necklaces (which I have many in leather pieces) to the full length church veils.
The latest collection “The New Botanical” is a mixture of using textures of rose gold and bronze.
To compliment her beautiful collection I wanted to create a look that would suit both models on a similar aspect. Some of the looks...

I wanted to create the look with colour and emphasis on 1980’s inspired look ready for the Spring/Summer of 2017 which is in our horizon very soon. The look is all about colour but instead of the strong 1980’s pink blusher I opted to use the Instaglam...

I have over the last year or so been working alongside an extremely talented photographer Rebecca Elizabeth Tate.
During these shoots it is wonderful to work in a team which includes of course make-up, then hair, model, stylist and of course the photographer, To create this look Rebecca was liaising with myself with her inspired mood boards to create this modern twist of 1920's inspired. We didn't want to create the obvious smoky eyes but wanted to add an element of what was happening on the latest trends from the catwalks shows for Autumn/Winter 2014/2015.
Here are the images which have...
