After finishing another show season earlier this year I landed back in the UK reeling with inspiration and excitement. Luckily for me that coincided with an opportunity to work with some new make-up I'd yet to try. I teamed up with coveted photographer Lee Scullion to put brush to skin and dip into my creative energy with a handful of new Shiseido products. 2019 has started and we are already now in the 3rd week of January already, I've been busy getting stuck into a new year of exciting and creative work. Here are some images from a shoot I worked at the Newcastle Intu Metrocentre for with Dutch designer clothing company G-Star Raw last weekend. The brand is well know for specialising in iconic denim pieces. For this shoot celebrating the opening of their new store at the Intu Metrocentre the models wore jumpsuits of a classic industrial work uniform style reinterpreted in a creative contemporary way. Therefore I opted to go for a light natural makeup on the models, keeping them looking soft and fresh faced whilst allowing the spotlight to remain on the clothes. As the beauty columnist for La Di Da Magazine I am so excited to see when La Di Da Magazine is released on each issue.   I quickly open the copy of the page of my beauty column (this issue it is page 15). A while ago I was approached to create a look using Honey for Noctis Magazine. I did use real honey instead of a skincare product to create the images shown within the magazine. On the skin I used Steamcream Concealer - Amazing Concealer Freckles - Liz Earle Pencil in Dark Brown and Golden Bronze Whilst writing this blog I was thinking about the use of honey in skincare and make-up products. A couple of times a year I get to work alongside talented photographer Brett Harkness who offers training courses throughout the United Kingdom and France to existing photographers who want to learn some new skills in the camera world.
