Tilly is one person I truly admire in so many ways, so I was really excited to have the opportunity to be working with the Newcastle legend again as makeup artist for this editorial shoot by Pattern. Just a couple of weeks ago I was lucky to be working on the make-up for the truly inspirational Tilly Lockey, who some of you might know better as 'The Bionic Girl'. At just 15 Tilly is storming the internet with her fun engaging online content, powerful messages and fashion forward looks, often with her bionic arms proudly on display for the world to marvel at. At the age of just 15 months Tilly contracted meningitis and was told she would be unlikely to survive. Instead this powerhouse of a young woman has beaten the rule book and today Tilly is here with us and taking her lifes challenges...
