Shoots always feel more gratifying when there's a deep background story and this united creative venture delivers just that. The Unity Collection is a collaboration of BeadWORKS in Northern Kenya and their European partners Sara Collins and Xenia von Poser. Simplicity at its finiest, I always enjoy working on the Gold Boutique shoots as I really resonate with the paired back feel they go for in the makeup brief. I created this look for their summer 2022 campaign, but I'm reviving it for Autumn 2023 because its got the perfect tonal cappuccino vibe to suit whats trending this season. Hot off the plane from Ethiopia, I arrived in Newcastle for what I'm dubbing as the wedding of the year so far! After working around the clock on a photoshoot in the swealtering heat of Addis Ababa, it was a quick turn around to get back to the UK and into wedding mode but wow was it worth it. I loved the trip to the Scottish Borders to be part of Caroline & Shea's wedding. Held in the beautiful Chirnside/ Kelso area, this part of the country never fails to impress me and makes for an idyllic wedding day backdrop. With the weather blessing the lovely couple with a warm glorious day the countryside setting truly came to life under the warm glow of the sun.
