Elemental Makeup Styles Paired Perfectly With Ruby & Oscar Jewellery

This Spring Ruby & Oscar are feeling the elements as their latest campaign for the upcoming season embraces the four essential facets of life. This was such a fun concept to jump into, I knew exactly how I wanted to lean into the style from the moment their Head of Marketing sent me the brief.

So whether you’re going with the flow like Water, down to Earth, getting all Fired up or you’re feeling Airy and ethereal this campaign has all the matching makeup and jewellery combo’s you could wish for.

When thinking about how to represent each of the elements I knew I wanted makeup that would cover all the bases, from beautiful tonal palettes and lustruous finishes. I mostly picked up pieces from SUQQU and Lisa Eldridge that would with out a doubt fulfill the brief, with a few special extras from the likes of 19/99 beauty and Chanel for finishing touches. Let’s get into each look!

Fire

Sensational pigments from the SUQQU Signature Colour Eyes Palette in 07 Benisaki made for a smoking hot eyeshadow look as I made the most of their sumptuous rich red shades that paired perfectly with the Pure Colour Blush in shade 10 Usumoya for extra warmth and spice to this bold look. Ruby & Oscar featured layered gold metals adorned with the likes of garnets, rubies and red opals for a beautiful yet chaotic feel that emanated the flicker of a fire.

Water

It was time to use the heavy shine hitters to bring all of the dewy skin goodness to this water look. Ruby & Oscar may have set the benchmark with dazzling layers of Topaz, Sapphires and Pearls but the High-Shine Gloss by 19/99 Beauty and Lisa Eldridge Liquid Lurex in Cressida rose to the sparkling occasion.

Earth

Taking the more tonally muted shades from the SUQQU Signature Colour Eyes Palette in 07 Benisaki was key in highlighting the natural side of beauty in this Earth inspired look. The Jewellery stayed on theme as a warming blend metals hailed gems of Amber, Peridot and Alexandrite giving the styling a real grounded yet luxurious energy.

Air

Light, soft and breezy, the final look was Air. Shining Diamonds and White Opals amidst Silver and White Gold metals are the star of this delicate and soft elemental style. Taking the Baume Essentiel I built a subtle glow for that etheral and angelic feel that really ties things together.
