From their upcoming album Beach Day, Another Sky‘s music video for new song The Pain is out now and I’m so proud to have been part of the production! I always love working on music videos as it’s such a switch up from the usual pace of photo shoots, runways and weddings. The days are long as hours are spent repeating actions over and over again, meanwhile I’m working away behind the scenes to ensure continuity with all the makeup looks as scene changes are filmed all over the place.

This particular project was such a welcome addition to my work schedule to mix things up, the musicians from Another Sky were such a good crowd. You know one of those moments when you know how brilliant a day is going to be right after meeting new people? This was one of those times, the band were full of really great energy and it set the tone for the whole shoot.

The Creative Director Darina had sent over the mood board and it oozed cool as the vibe transported me back to the late 80’s and early 90’s.  A time I remember fondly, it was amazing to pay this era homage along side this incredible song and wonderful artists.
