If you’re equal parts into fitness and fashion, you might have already seen that back in January END released the Work Out Edit. This is a super cool showcase of their women’s wear workout selection that was tailor made to help you kick of the new year in the fitness industry’s finest and I loved being part of it.
It may be February now but lets keep 2022 going in style and comfort with some of these pieces that bring together the best of the modern and the retro. They have an eclectic mix of styles for what ever kind of exercise you want, for you to feel your best whilst performing your best. There’s definitely something for everyone ready to work up a sweat in this selection, and that’s where my inspiration for the make-up look comes in.
Of course I don’t want the model to look drenched in sweat, but I want to bring that touch of realism to the look. Using Proshine on the body was the first way I decided to bring that dewy, fresh out the gym or just finished a light jog look, with healthy radiant skin with a slight shine to it.
Keeping the face simple with a brow that framed her face perfectly using none other than a killer combo of the West Barn Co Brow Pencil and their new tinted Soap Brow was key for setting the rest of the face up for success.
I then took a selection of Jones Road products to craft a delicate make-up look, their Miracle Balm was ideal for a subtle coverage and light reflecting sheen to fit the post workout theme. I added in a little detail and colour with a few more of their products, the real star was the Lip and Cheek Stick. Such a lovely smooth lightweight formula that was super moisturising which meant it was perfect for this shoot, but if I wanted to get more impact and colour from it for future work it could easily be built up. I’ll definitely be packing Jones Road into my kit again soon!
