Dame Margaret Barbour has chaired world renowned British fashion brand Barbour for five decades, reinventing the company and their infamous wax jackets from work mans wear to globally sort after piece. She is already decorated with honours such as the DBE and CBE, well deserved for her many years of incredible contributions to British industry and supporting women in it.
In November this year it was Drapers Magazine’s turn in showing their respect and appreciation with their Lifetime Of Achievement accolade. I was delighted to be part of the day celebrating Margaret, a legend of my stomping grounds in the North East of England, and to provide an elegant make-up look for the shoot.

Gracing the front cover Dame Margaret looks radiant as ever. I kept the make-up simple to only enhance her natural beauty that she already beams with. Shiseido’s Synchro Skin kept the complexion even, bright and fresh. A little colour and definition added to the face in the eyes and lips using Suqqu & Guerlain.
