SUQQU’s AW23 Collection is here and I’ve been loving playing with the new colours! The release perfectly coincided with prototyping the new additions for The Jo Leversuch Brush Collection that have since launched. It was the ideal opportunity to show you what makeup I’m wearing this autumn and how to apply it using the brand new Flat Eye Shadow, Corrector and Concealer Brushes along with some old faithfuls from my collection.
As you will have seen during September when we were featuring the Dense Brush, I’ve been loving The Foundation by SUQQU for its healthy glow effect thats beautiful for autumnal skin. Taking the foundation with the tip of my brush head I apply to the face and use a buffing motion until my coverage feels complete and is looking radiant.
For the eyes I’m using the new SUQQU AW23 Signature Color Eyes Palette in shade 127. For my eyes I tend to use my fingers first to pick up plenty of product and press into my eyelids. Then, using the brand new Jo Leversuch Flat Eye Shadow Brush I’m sweeping the colour on the lower part of my top lid and slighty winging it out. I designed this brush with monotoned eye looks in mind and these quads by SUQQU are perfect for that, this palette in particular has two shades I’m working from has gorgeous ruby mauve shades I often find myself gravitating towards.
Up next it’s another new brush, The Corrector Brush, except I’m using it as an eyeliner! Designed to use for corrections, the fine tip of this little brush is actually also great for accurate work like eyeliners too. I’m taking another of the deep rich pinky shades from the SUQQU quad and using to line both my upper and lower lash lines. I really love the complexity in the blend of autumnal shades this palette gives to create a full eye look.
The final colour in the quad is a blue-gray toned silver that really sets off the warmth of the other three. This time its The Concealer Brush that I’m using with its larger and fluffier hairs to lightly pat the silver over the centre of my lid for some lustre. The third and final new additon to the Jo Leversuch Collection, another versatile brush made for giving coverage with a diffuse feel to your concealer these properties are great for depositing eyeshadow colour for a delicate feel. Adding a touch of Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk Mascara I’m keeping things light, especially on the bottom lashes to avoid a heavy feel. This look is all about the colour makeup after all!
Back to SUQQU I’m now using another of their AW23 releases, The Pure Colour Blush in shade 143 . Swirling the Jo Leversuch Multiuse Brush in to the absolutely stunning lilac and beige shade, the finely milled powders of SUQQU’s blushers give such an incredible finish and the soft brush enables the subdued pigment to disperse so delicately. I kept the cheeks purposefully subtle because of the lip colour I’m choosing next!
The latest in their Moisture Rich Lipstick shade range, I’m using 127 which is a deep burgundy to keep the tones cohesive across this look. Swiping across my lips a couple times, I’m tapping the pigment out with my fingers to continue the diffused style, taking a little of the excess left on my fingers I love to tap the lip colour into the cheeks too to add extra dimension to my blush look.
Radiant, rich and warm, this collection is just what I needed for the Autumn months. See more from SUQQU on their website, you’ll quickly realise why they’re one of my favourite brands. Don’t forget great makeup deserves great brushes, pair your SUQQU with The Jo Leversuch Brush Collection!
