I did use real honey instead of a skincare product to create the images shown within the magazine.
On the skin I used
Concealer – Amazing Concealer
Freckles – Liz Earle Pencil in Dark Brown and Golden Bronze
Whilst writing this blog I was thinking about the use of honey in skincare and make-up products. Honey has wonderful nurturing, repair and healing properties to the skin and has been used since Cleopatra claimed to have used it all those centuries ago.
I have listed my top 3 must have products which use honey in the ingredients.
Laura Mercier Crème Brulee Honey Bath – the ultimate luxury item, to coat yourself like Cleopatra in the Honey Bath and your skin will be cashmere smooth and soft.
Burts Bee The Body Lotion – a light easy Body lotion to use for everyday and doesn’t leave your skin sticky atall which is perfect for this time of year
Lipstick Queen- Queen Bea – for kissable lips go no further than this hydrating lipstick enriched with Royal Jelly.

Disclaimer
I cant guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.
