Once again that wonderful time of year for Spring Summer Fashion Weeks has come and gone and I have made it through all the beauty and busyness to share some of it with you. Here's a look back stage working for one of my favourite designers Erdem, presenting their new 2020 Spring/Summer collection at Grays Inn Gardens for London Fashion Week. Whilst working during London Fashion Week and assisting alongside the one and only truly amazing inspirational and creative Val Garland for the delightful designer Temperley London, I got the chance to try the new make-up collection and lipsticks by Rodial called Suede Lips. Rodial Skincare was launched in 1999 with the huge success of the famous Dragon Blood range and drive and determination by Maria Hatzistefanis herself to bring this inspirational brand to the industry. Whilst travelling and working in London, Milan and Paris for the fashion season which can be grueling but I secretly love every single second of this part of my career. During the last month I have been working backstage on the show teams assisting Val Garland, Miranda Joyce and Lisa Eldridge on the amazing shows of Tod’s, Temperley, Hogan, Jill Sander and Sonia Rykiel and the newest designer Matty Bovan. It's times in your life that something life changing happens and you get to work alongside some uber talented people.   My time came when I had the chance to work with Val Garland and her team during London and Milan. I have been sitting here for a while trying to express in words how I feel being picked to assist backstage with Val Garland for ISSA Spring Summer 2016 collection. I can honestly say I am speechless - which is rare for me! After completing the four month intense course with Val Garland School of Make-up during the summer months which during that time I got to submit briefs set by i-D magazine ( where I was shortlisted for my work), Preen, Vivienne Westwood, Matthew Williamson and NARS.   At the end of the course I could put my name down to be picked to work backstage with Val Garland on the ISSA...
