I was asked by the designer of the The Beehive Brand, Andrea Freeman, to work alongside her new collection. The Beehive Brand has deep routes with Patons and Baldwins factory in Darlington and the inspiration for the makeup on this location shoot was to have a fresh modern twist on inspired make up from the 1950s. Early morning 3am start for a shoot for a new brand The Beehive Brand. Four female models and two male models all needing make-up. We started the morning at Be Premiere Hair salon in Darlington where i worked closely with James Reid hairdresser to start prepping hair and make-up. We all headed off to a secluded location on the outskirts of Darlington probably only known to the 'Dawn Army' the factory workers who used to make their way to work at dawn, silently and on mass.. on their way into town by pedal power or on foot.
