I was thrilled to be asked back to work backstage at London Fashion Week with the lead make-up artist Ariane Poole with Ariane Poole Cosmetics. Two seasons running Ong Oag Pairam has worked alongside Ariane to create beautiful make-up to represent the clothes from his collection. Ong Oag himself is an extremely passionate designer about his collection and you can see the fine details that he adds to his clothes, from the research and aspiration towards the fabric he chooses to even the colour. A few weeks' ago Ariane Poole contacted me to ask if I wanted to be part of the make-up team for an amazing designer Ong Oag Pairam at London Fashion Week. What could I say ….of course I had to say YES!!! Arrived early lunchtime at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden where it all began. Working backstage is all about the atmosphere where you spend the next four hour call time, prepping hair and make-up with models getting ready for dress rehearsal for final preparations of fittings and outfit decisions.
