In February I got to work in New York City for Pratt Institute on their latest lookbook and a chance to work with some amazing creative in the industry.

I am thrilled to see my latest work on the front cover of a luxury magazine called La Di Da.
The shoot was arranged by myself and a talented up and coming photographer Rebecca Elizabeth Tate. We wanted to create an autumnal feel to the shoot to involve all aspects from the colour of the hair to the choice of make-up.
Hope you enjoy these images and I have given you some ideas on wearing some vibrant colours during these dreary grey winter months.
Contact me via jo@makeupbyjo.co.uk if you would like any further information on the make-up I have used.

Apply the stick directly to the eyelid and blend with either your fingertips or with a synthetic eyeshadow brush to create a smouldering smoky eye.
Alternatively you can draw a line along the top and bottom lash line and softly blend for a “smudge” effect eyeliner.
