Dame Margaret Barbour has chaired world renowned British fashion brand Barbour for five decades, reinventing the company and their infamous wax jackets from work mans wear to globally sort after piece. She is already decorated with honours such as the DBE and CBE, well deserved for her many years of incredible contributions to British industry and supporting women in it.
In November this year it was Drapers Magazine's turn in showing their respect and appreciation with their Lifetime Of Achievement accolade. I was delighted to be part of the day celebrating Margaret, a legend of my stomping...
About twice a year I get to work for Katy of What Katy Did Next. I always get excited when she sends me a message to ask if I am available for a photo shoot for her latest collections.
Katy has an amazing talent of creating some fabulous creations in headpieces as well as necklaces (which I have many in leather pieces) to the full length church veils.
The latest collection “The New Botanical” is a mixture of using textures of rose gold and bronze.
To compliment her beautiful collection I wanted to create a look that would suit both models on a similar aspect. Some of the looks...
Lartington Hall is like one of those hidden gems in the beautiful area of Barnard Castle. You drive down a long dramatic driveway surrounded by trees and wow you arrive at the entrance with breathtaking amount of marble flooring and floor to ceiling mirrors. You curve round the corner of the hallway and are welcomed by subtle colours of French duck egg blue and the most exquisite furniture.
I have been sitting here trying to decide how to describe this wedding, the only words I can think of is “celebrity wedding oozing with style “
Kyleigh, the bride, was just breathtakingly beautiful...

This time of year it is all about glamour and creating the filmstar “red carpet look”.
You may be asking how can I achieve this look on my own?
In the latest edition of La Di Da Magazine I have showcased how you create this look using make-up from four top luxurious brands.
To create this look I used the following products:
Skinbase: YSL Le Touch Touch Eclat Foundation
Eyes: Tom Ford Eye Colour Quad in Seductive Rose
Blusher: Guerlain Terracotta 4 Season Bronzer Powder in Sheer Blondes
Lips: Lancome Le Rouge L'Absolu in shade Rose Nuance

Springtime in 2015 is all about pink, whether its rose, blush, shell, or even a strong candy pink.
My favouite pink item has to be the Guerlain Meteorites Perles de Blush in Angelic Radiance.
The packaging is beautifully made and reminds me of the heritage of Guerlain in the 1900’s. This small intricate box with angelic angels and the sweetest of pink packaging will look fabulous on a dressing table or take it to work to make your colleagues swoon over it!
Once you open the box and you can smell the scent of violets which is like going back in time. These mini magical Meteorites pearls...
I started in the industry many years ago working for Lancome where I had an intense training course in London Head Office. My 10 year career with Lancome took me to large accounts in Edinburgh, Manchester, York and my final position before I left the company was in House of Fraser in Darlington.
Looking back at my career with Lancome I wanted to write an article about how to create the Valentine look using make-up products you can purchase from House of Fraser. I wanted to have a cross section of make-up brands which, of course, included Lancome! but from other top companies from Clarins, Guerlain...
On a recent visit to Paris I was thrilled to receive a hand delivered Guerlain parcel to my hotel with their latest make-up range which is launching in January, 2015.
Some of these products are top secret until January but I was given the honour to try the range for this beauty look, plus write a review on these beautiful products.
I eagerly opened the parcel with a huge grin and was immediately drawn to the packaging and the quality of Guerlain, which has been enchancing beauty since 1892.
With Spring time nearly upon us it’s time to put aside the heavier make-up from the winter months...
