I'm still not quite over the whirlwind of 2021, so every time I receive more images of gorgeous weddings from last year I am still blown away by how we pulled together such beautiful moments in so much turmoil. I am so grateful amongst restrictions and lockdowns I still managed to get some wonderful time working with amazing brides at my second home, Middleton Lodge.
This time it was Caroline who I was blessed to be spending her wedding morning with. She loved make-up so much that she really relished the opportunity at the trial to deeply discuss all the different aspects of make-up and skincare....
I first met Sophie back in March 2020, just a few days before official lockdown number 1 began. It was her bridal make-up trial I can remember her in tears, as any bride would be, all that time ago filled with uncertainty for what would come of her wedding she had planned for June 2020. Little did we know back then just how naive we were to hope for a much smaller set back than we got, in almost every way of life let alone weddings!
None the less we went ahead with the trial with crossed fingers and minds filled with hope. During we discussed what key elements Sophie felt were important to her for wedding...
As the nation prepared for lockdown number 3 back at the end of 2020, I was attending my last wedding of the year. With all the cancellations, uncertainty and moving of dates this lovely couple luckily squeezed in this gorgeous micro wedding to tie the knot just in time before weddings were taken out of the equation again for a number of months thanks to the pandemic.
