A few weeks’ ago Ariane Poole contacted me to ask if I wanted to be part of the make-up team for an amazing designer Ong Oag Pairam at London Fashion Week.

What could I say ….of course I had to say YES!!!

Arrived early lunchtime at the Grand Connaught Rooms in Covent Garden where it all began.

Working backstage is all about the atmosphere where you spend the next four hour call time, prepping hair and make-up with models getting ready for dress rehearsal for final preparations of fittings and outfit decisions.

Photographers and film crew wondering around capturing the day, stylists, PR, model agencies…the rooms is full of people.

Love every minute of it.

The collection itself is breathtaking.  The collection by Ong Oag Pairam has a pure sense of luxury and design from tailored wool suits, metallic, fur, leather gloves and shoes, with flowing silk dresses that could be worn on a red carpet occasion.

I had a chance to chat to Ong Oag himself and the passion oozed out of him and he said “ people have passion in life for cars, homes, jewellery but mine is fabric and materials that’s my life long passion “ and you can certainly see that in the collection.

How to create the look using Ariane Poole make-up?

I have listed below images and the products used on the show.

Ariane Poole had created and designed a new eyeshadow palette which is coming out in the Autumn to purchase.   The look created a feel of 1970’s inspiration with a mixed vibe of 1940’s Hollywood Glamour.

The make-up was to create the focus on the eyes, cheeks and lips and I have listed the make-up used on the day all by Ariane Poole
