Hannah’s Chic Cool Bridal Make-up featuring the Hourglass Vegan Red Lipstick!

What a bride, what a wedding! Bride Hannah exuded a chic and cool energy, as you scroll through the amazing previews from Katy Melling you can tell that energy effortlessly flowed throughout the rest of her special day tying the knot with now husband Will.

What I loved about working with Hannah for her bridal makeup was that her style for the day was the epitome of simplicity at it’s very best. That’s not to say there wasn’t attention to detailing, it meant there was more attention to get those simple touches refined to perfection.

It was a beautiful late September’s day as Hannah and Wills wedding party enjoyed the sprawling grounds of their own private priory with the most incredible tipi tents set up for the celebrations. Brinkburn isn’t a venue I’ve frequented so much as many others I visit with my brides but it definitely felt like the ideal setting for this laid back couple in their own secluded countryside retreat for the day.

When it came to the makeup Hannah opted for a look that matched her chic and cool vibe. A softer eyeliner approach meant using Charlotte Tilbury’s Rock ‘n’ Kohl Eyeliner on the top lid and inner eye. The kohl pencil pigments could blend out delicately and connect with diffuse soft eyeshadow I had layered underneath.

A kiss of glow to the cheeks and forehead using Chanel Les Beiges Bronzing Cream complemented the slight warmth of the Hourglass Cosmetics Confession Lipstick in Red O. This lipstick is an exciting new discovery for me as a result of Hannah asking for a true red lip combined with my ongoing search for sustainable make-up alternatives.

 A 100% vegan red lipstick formulated with Hourglass’ exclusive replacement for the usual insect derived carmine pigment, you can buy refills for these lipsticks to save on packaging as well as the animals. Not to mention it looked absolutely flawless!
