It’s time to let you into a little bit more of my work which doesn’t relate to weddings. I love keeping up to date across all avenues in the make-up industry to ensure I’m always giving my brides the best that they can get. I’ve worked in this field for such a long time now and it never bores me, there’s always fresh ideas, concepts and products arriving in unexpected corners of the make-up world and I am so grateful my varied work has given me such a wealth of experiences that I can then pass on to my brides.
I’ve posted about this brand here before but if you’re new here then let me introduce you. END. are a highly successful brand from the North East showcasing freshest fashion for both men and women plus life style too. A regular client of mine I’m often getting fun sneak peaks at the latest sneaker drop or the hottest new athleisure fits.
For the most part the brief I get from END is mainly about using skincare and make-up in combination to create my signature perfected skin. On top of this there’s a level of highlight that is just right for their requirements, enough to catch the lighting and bring some dimension but with out too much artificial glow. The vibe is realistic and minimal, which takes more effort than it looks!
I spend a lot of time prepping the skin to minimise the need for make-up elements, I want the skin to really speak for itself and match the immaculately styled freshness. This involves bringing in the big guns, my favourite skincare brands; Steamcream, Weleda, SUQQU, REN and Embryolisse.
Once the skin is ready and it’s time for make-up I tend to use a very minimal amount, focusing more on correction with concealers. My top three go to concealer brands, whether it’s for END. or for my brides are NARS, Ariane Poole and SUQQU.
