Writing this blog I am sat looking out the window as it snows and becomes a winter wonderland outside, I can't help but think about how much time we really are spending inside this lockdown number 3 especially. I took it upon myself earlier in the day and seized the opportunity to get out of the house for my walk so that I could take a few photos of the magical snowy scenes. By the time I got back home I was really feeling the effects on my face of coming in from the cold bitter elements into the intense central heating. Although it may be a beautiful time of year it's a hard one on our skin!

I have had so many proud moments in my career but this has well and truly hit the top of my list. Over the years I have used and adored Soap Brow whilst I watched West Barn Co, the family run business that produces it, grow from strength to strength. They have really come into their own with some brilliant products for both professional make-up artists and everyday consumers who just love make-up!
For this shoot I was hired by WBCo as they wanted to update their website and social media with some new and exciting products which will be launching soon. Being part of this team and this...
As a make-up artist and all around lover of cream textures on the skin I have been on the quest to find the perfect cream based shade of burgundy. On my hunt high and low to find something to replace my sadly discontinued favourite Bobbi Brown shade, I came across Jillian Dempsey. I was lucky enough that they sent me over a selection of their lid and cheek tints to try my hand at not only for myself but as I am always looking for new exciting additions to pop in my work kit for my upcoming projects.
As you may know by now I often like to get my hands involved when applying make-up,...

For this blog today I wanted to share with you a brand who's products I have used for many years - Evolve Organic Beauty. I love sharing them with my clients, they're perfect for my brides and I've even used them on a set for the film 'A Very British Christmas' which was showcased over in the USA. I try a lot of skincare and there's a lot of great products out there, but this brand in particular really is strides ahead of the rest.
Why do I love this award winning brand you ask? Have a little read of their mission statement below for a starters! Then we'll get into my list of some of the absolute...
Having a bit more time to myself thanks to this lockdown means I’ve been looking for lots of ways to keep productive. Between all the other virtual projects I’ve worked on I’ve also been productively digging through my skin care and make-up supplies to try some things I had never got round to before.
Not only is skincare a fundamental part of self-care, but it can also make or break a make-up look so it’s so important to me to find the right products for me and my clients. Whilst I’m pretty happy with my ZO Skin Health routine, it might not be everyone’s cup of tea so it’s good to branch...
Showcasing Avon's Distillery Range at the Northern Wedding Show
Late last year I was asked to head up a make-up team for the latest Northern Wedding Show by Belle Bridal. This year's partner for the show and demonstrations was Avon. They might not be everyone's first thought when it comes to bridal make-up, but with their new range Distillery it would be an oversight not to consider them for your big day's look. Distillery is all about clean living, creating beautiful products with out compromising the planet with their vegan ingredients, ethical mindset and eco conscious packaging choices. With...
An Exclusive Interview & Creative Shoot
You've probably heard me mention before about the productive buzz I get each and every show season, my brain is always overcome with inspiration and excitement amongst all the hustle and bustle.
This year I teamed up with Opalus Magazine between shows in Milan for an exclusive interview with Tashi Honnery. Combined with a creative shoot with one of my faves Malorie Shmyr, this shoot is a special one encapsulating the unity of the two sides of my artistry, bright bold colour and naturally beautiful skin.
Flowing full of artistic energy and free...
