It's December and we're all thinking about christmas and all things winter. I thought my work for this shoot with Rock N Rose was perfect to share with you especially for this time of year. These beautiful and festive star earrings are truly amazing, I may even have to get these earrings as a christmas gift to myself!
Always such a great company to work with to create very soft and feminine yet powerful images that let their stunning jewellery shine. If you fancy a pair for yourself you can find them here: Adriel Star Hoop Earrings.
To create the look I used:
Here are some images from a shoot I worked at the Newcastle Intu Metrocentre for with Dutch designer clothing company G-Star Raw last weekend. The brand is well know for specialising in iconic denim pieces. For this shoot celebrating the opening of their new store at the Intu Metrocentre the models wore jumpsuits of a classic industrial work uniform style reinterpreted in a creative contemporary way. Therefore I opted to go for a light natural makeup on the models, keeping them looking soft and fresh faced whilst allowing the spotlight to remain on the clothes.

I wanted to share with you some images and a short film from my latest work with designer Pepe Lowe. The clothing brand features simple yet contemporary basics which are made out of 100% silk. I used the makeup to create an elegant yet effortless look to compliment the style of clothing that Pepe Lowe designs.
To create the look I used
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm
Evolve Daily Renew Natural Face Cream
Bioderma Sensibio H20 Solution
Ariane Poole Ultimate Face Tint
Ariane Poole Mineral Illuminator Pen
Rodial Glamobrow Pencil
Oribe Matte Waves Texture Lotion
I always have such a varied aspect of work but I wanted to share with you my latest front cover. It's always exciting to work with a team to create a magazine cover and this time it was for Jules B which I adore. I had the pleasure of working on the autumn winter 2018 edition which is showcasing some of this seasons coolest and boldest outerwear for staying warm and cosy!
You can check out the full magazine online here for free. If you see anything you like in these images the online magazine has a really handy click through shopping feature too.

At the end of last year I had the most exciting photo shoot, I have been part of to create the new campaign for “Jim Steinman’s Bat Out of Hell The Musical” I am so excited that it is now showing at the London Coliseum in the West End of London.
Who cannot love Meat Loaf and the iconic album Bat Out of Hell where we have all sung our hearts out, dancing in our kitchens/bedrooms and at the school disco’s to the never ending songs of I’d do anything for Love, You Took the Words Right out of my Mouth (Hot Summer Night), Dead Ringer for Love and more.
I suggest you get your tickets...
A day in the life of Jo. No two days are ever the same with my business and recently I was working with photographer Chris Davis whom I have worked with a lot on some major exciting projects. Make-up kit packed and off I headed to the Holborn Studio London and I had goosebumps when I heard the roar of a Harley Davidson motorbike arriving into the studio. The whole focus on the day was to create the make-up with a "modern feel...

I am not sure if you have been watching on Wednesday at 9pm Channel 4 a fly on the wall documentary of the iconic Liberty of London . #libertyoflondon
Since 2008 the famous Ed Burstell has taken over as Managing Director of Liberty and I am always excited to see how he pushes Liberty into this century but keeping what Liberty is famous for...”individuality “.
As a huge fan of the Liberty and every given chance I am in London I will go and visit. I always start in the Jewellery Department and slowly work my way around each department to take in the whole magical experience from looking...
In my previous weekly blogs I have talked about my one to one make-up lessons that I offer to clients.
I really wanted to share with you my experience with a client whom I met for a one to one make-up lesson recently.
When I met this lovely lady she was so nervous and shy as she explained she didn’t bring her make-up bag with her as she didn’t own one and had never worn make-up ever…. my client is 58!
So my first question was why now? What has changed? How do you want the make-up to look and feel?
She replied “it is my daughter's wedding this year and also I feel that now at...
