Kiss the Moon last week won the Pure Beauty Best New British Winner 2016 so I wanted to write another blog on one of my favorite products from the range Glow After Dark Face Polish.
There are so many exfoliators in the beauty industry and it can be quite confusing trying to figure out which ones are suitable for you and still gentle on the skin.
There are four sections in the Kiss the Moon range called Love, Glow, Calm and Dream.
The glow range is secretly my favorite as I love the natural ingredients and scent used from sweet aromatic scent of the orange, to the healing aspect of Myrrh...
A day in the life of Jo. No two days are ever the same with my business and recently I was working with photographer Chris Davis whom I have worked with a lot on some major exciting projects. He asked me to work with him to help create this amazing look for the new Jim Steinman"s Bat out of Hell The Musical, which is showcasing February 2017 onwards.
Make-up kit packed and off I headed to the Holborn Studio London and I had goosebumps when I heard the roar of a Harley Davidson motorbike arriving into the studio. The whole focus on the day was to create the make-up with a "modern feel...
Whilst working during London Fashion Week and assisting alongside the one and only truly amazing inspirational and creative Val Garland for the delightful designer Temperley London, I got the chance to try the new make-up collection and lipsticks by Rodial called Suede Lips.
Rodial Skincare was launched in 1999 with the huge success of the famous Dragon Blood range and drive and determination by Maria Hatzistefanis herself to bring this inspirational brand to the industry.
The Rodial Suede Lips were the first lipstick to be launched straight after the Temperley Show and available to buy online...
Whilst travelling and working in London, Milan and Paris for the fashion season which can be grueling but I secretly love every single second of this part of my career.
During the last month I have been working backstage on the show teams assisting Val Garland, Miranda Joyce and Lisa Eldridge on the amazing shows of Tod’s, Temperley, Hogan, Jill Sander and Sonia Rykiel and the newest designer Matty Bovan.
When I come back from working backstage on the shows I do find it difficult to switch off and stop the mind buzzing…..what product has saved me during the fashion season ?
The Kiss...
I was really busy last week working at London Fashion Week. The first show was Matty Bovan and Lead makeup artist is Miranda Joyce and the makeup by Marc Jacobs.
The second show I was involved in was Temperley London with the famous Val Garland and model Blanca Padilla. Rodial makeup was used and there are some lipsticks that have been launched by Val and Rodial at Harrods. Click here to see more about Rodial Skincare

I just love creating some amazing make-up looks for editorial magazines and my latest work has been shown online with Material Girl magazine.
The key focus for this look was the strong black eyeliner which had a 1960's influence from some of the iconic looks from Jean Shrimpton to Brigitte Bardot.
To create the look you need use the blackest of eyeliners - you may be saying but "black is black". Some blacks have a grey undertone so for the look I wanted the black to really stand out as the strongest feature thanks to Pat McGrath latest limited edition eyeliner.

It is always such an amazing surprise when I receive make-up in the post for me to try. The latest make-up product I have received is by Daniel Sandler.
I immediately was inspired to use the Radiant Glow Illuminating Face powder on a client to create a similar look to the pink from pink peonies. The look my client wanted was to create those rosy cheeks with a gentle cat flick eyeliner.
How I used the Daniel Sandler Radiant Glow Illuminating Face Powder
To create the colour on the cheeks I used a small blusher brush and used the four colours in the palette to create the glow.
