I came across Rimmel London and Kate Moss lipsticks when i was Head Make-up artists at Graduate Fashion week in London of June 2012. Rimmel London has changed immensely over the years and is getting better with key products. My favourite products are Kate Moss Matt Lipstick and Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick.
The rich creamy texture of these lipsticks applied with a lipbrush go on a dream and are so easy to apply. The depth of colours and choice of colours are suitable for most complexions.
My favourite colours at the moment are

Happy New Year to everyone and lets begin 2013 with clean make-up brushes and tidy out the old make-up you may have stored away in a back of a cupboard.
There are many reasons for keeping your make-up brushes clean
* removes old make-up that builds up on the brushes
* bacteria and germs that could cause skin issues and breakouts and reactions to products
* cares for the expensive make-up brushes you have made an investment in
How often should you clean your brushes ? ideally as a guideline these should be washed at least once a week in a mild shampoo....

Just wanted to write a quick blog about a photographer i had met over the last couple of months. Danny Lowe http://www.dannylowe.com/
Location for this two day shoot was in South Gare Redcar which is just an amazing mixture of countryside and industrial backdrop with a fishing and harbour. The weather was kind to us over the two days as it was in the middle of March, but the sun shone for most of the two days with the exception of some English rain.
I had the opportunity to work on a two day shoot with Danny Lowe Photographer and stylist Alexandra Bickerdike. The clothes were supplied...

"A high quality natural and traceable raw ingredients are bound by a steam-infused process to create a hydrating, easily absorbed and luxurious vegan cream." The cream is packaged in aluminium tins all limited editions with funky eye catching designs for individual...
Wanted to share with you a blog about the first bride to have her wedding held at Thorp Perrow stately home nr Bedale in North Yorkshire.
I met Louise last year at a wedding fayre. Louise wanted make-up for herself and her two bridesmaids. The look Louise wanted was a natural make-up to reflect each individual person and to have the overall colour scheme tied with the bridesmaids gorgeous rich chocolate coloured dresses. When i arrive at the family home in the middle of January, the weather was glorious, the sun shining and relatively warm for winter time. The bride...

I use the Eve Lom cleanser with the Clarisonic...
I wanted to share with you a vintage inspired two day photo shoot i was involved in at an amazing location Rigwood Manor in Saltburn by the Sea Redcar and Cleveland. I was approached last year by Vicky Trainor vintage stationer and Becky Mitchell photographer who were both excited about a new venture they had planned for this year. Mood boards were emailed across to me and my make-up ideas began for the shoot.
The make-up was inspired by recent magazines and images and after watching many hours and i mean many hours as i had purchased the box set of Mad Men. From...
I was involved on an inspiring photo shoot which was researched by stationer Vicky Trainor and photographer Becky Mitchell Photography.
The look inspired was a soft, vintage vibe based on an old victorian drawing room. Lace table cloths, crochet stationery, japanese china cups supplied by Make-up by Jo (me) from my uncles travels in Japan in the 50's. The amazing flowers amaryllis, roses, jasmine, potted pansies with the amazing soft colours to represent the shoot. The model with her sultry red hair gave the image a twist to the vintage vibe.
The make-up was an inspiration...
