Sunkissed Summer Wedding Makeup Fit For an Outdoor Ceremony with Bride Alice

This summer I got to take in the true grandeur of the lastest addition to the Northumberland wedding venue scene, taking to Lemmington Hall where I was set to help bride Alice get prepped and makeup ready for her stroll down the aisle. Well outdoor aisle, as their gorgeous fairytale-esque ceremony took place in the lavish grounds that surround the hall. Captured through the lense of Rosie Davison, you’ll quickly see that a certain someone named Noodle almost stole the show. The couple’s dog played the part as the world’s cutest ring barer escorted by Wishbone Weddings, but nothing could truly outshine their celebration of love and just how incredible Alice looked. Even if Noodle did come close!

Alice’s brief was for a glowy and bronzed bridal makeup look, a true summery vibe for tying the knot in nature, looking sunkissed and radiant. For the dewy skinbase I opted to start with Tatcha’s Dewy Skin Cream massaged gently in for rich radiance and an invigorated base, whilst a pairing of the Typology Tinted Serum and Shiseido Synchro Skin Concealer allowed for a cohesive complexion that felt easy going and wearable all day out in the heat.

The bronzer came in the form of the rich and luxurious Chanel Les Beiges Bronzing Cream, which has a beautiful blurring effect that blends out amazingly across the face and neck. Layered with the Merit Flush Balm in shade Fox for an extra warm wash of sheer, natural looking colour on the cheeks.

The eyes were where we brought a little drama, with dark shadow, tight lining and a subtle flick to elongate her natural shape. I love using the SUQQU Signature Color Eyes palettes for bridal eyeshadow not only for the great pigment pay off, but because their shades are so well suited for harmonious smoky gradients. I used palette 12 for Alice as it has a warm selection of natural hues that can be blended to deepen the tones around the lid, matching the bronzed contour we had created for the rest of her features.
