Sit back and take a closer peek behind the scenes of Jessie’s August wedding, as we spend the morning together getting her radiant, natural bridal glam together. We had such a lovely relaxed and chatty time together as we reviewed her face chart from her trial and got to work building her dreamy wedding day look. These images captured by Your Wedding Story by Chiyo and Kirk are such a great insight into those delicate moments that are a huge part of setting a bride up for a perfect day ahead. Each step I take as a bridal MUA are essential in laying a great foundation for what’s to come, both literally in my application and the energy I bring throughout. It’s so important to me that you feel your most beautiful self entirely, in looks and in spirit.
Jessie’s morning was the perfect example of that, she carried her own natural radiance and happiness that was easy to reflect, it would have been hard not to enjoy my time working with her! We started with massaging in essential skincare base layers like the Muihood Tao Rice Water Essence, a quick skin quenching formula that feels weightless so your skin and your smile can flourish with ease. This massaging skincare focused ritual is part of my ever requested signature perfected skinbase, but another signature treament my brides often experience is the selection of my own Jo Leversuch Makeup Brushes that I use for a runway worthy professional finish. You’ll see a variety of them in use here like the Multi Use Powder Brush, a versitle powerhouse of a tool that I used with Jessie to carve out glowing cheek definition.
As per her brief I created Jessie an easy going bridal look that looked luminous and felt light, with a dramatic cat eye flare.
