Unmistakably Dewy Bridal Makeup At The Luxurious Maften Hall

It’s late summer at Maften Hall and the sun’s rays are beaming down on the palatial grounds, bathing the estate in a warm and inviting glow. I know that might be hard to imagine right now as the Autumn rains continue shower the north east, but step inside this Belle Bridal shoot for a sneak peak at their upcoming wedding inspiration featuring luxury bridal makeup, timeless architecture and modern styling.

Set in 300 acres of unique parklands, Maften Hall is Northumberland’s first and only 5 star hotel. As such that meant my job as MUA was to bring first-class products, techniques and finishes to compliment the location and to suit the features of our stunning model Lydia. As our bride for the day it was important for Lydia’s look was both in keeping with the location and had a stand-out, premium feel. That’s why I decided to blend my own signature perfected skin style with some Hayley Bieber vibes for a simple yet unmistakably dewy complexion.

This marriage of styles that happened in my MUA chair began in true Hayley style, with skincare at its core. To go foundationless and still look flawless relies on this, alongside some really well considered and blended concealer, both applied using brushes of course from the Jo Leversuch Collection. When radiance is the end goal a nourished skin barrier has to be the start. For  face and body the hydration holy trifecta on set this day consisted of My Skin Feels, Muihood and Proshine that left her skin pillow soft and bright.

For colour correction, an extra layer of glow and added sun protection the Poco Beauty Universal Glow Treatment was my pick, elevating things with a naturally lit from within illumination.
