Last November I took you behind the scenes as a bridal MUA for my morning with Zoe at Yorkshire’s Middleton Lodge. Now I’m back to show you just how good her make-up continued to look all day long with a peek into her wedding album!
Photographer Rosie Davison shared these lovely insights into Zoe & Henry’s ultra elegant day at my favourite venue of all time. You can tell just by a quick flick through this handful of gorgeous images exactly why I’m so in love with Middleton Lodge. Zoe’s estately style is just the cherry on the cake, whilst colourful arrangements by The Rarified complimented the venue’s blooming backdrop, her striking Pronovias dress and long locks of tumbling waves by Emily Hawkes Hairmade a statement.
It really was a whole Audrey Hepburn inspired vibe, graceful and chic. Zoe’s make-up was to echo this sophisticated sentiment starting with my signature perfected skinbase. I started by preparing the skin using My Skin Feelsfor a hydrated face, and Every & One for a body treatment. Then using the unbeatable glow of Poco Beauty’s Universal Glow Treatment, I created a dewy base that delicately corrects and illumates. Next I the Lisa Eldridge Elevated Glow Highlighter and Skin and Makeup Enhancing Mist left her with a healthy, lit from within radiance.
When it was time for colour, the NARS Afterglow Liquid Blusher in Dolce Vita provided the perfect amount of diffuse warmth to Zoe’s cheeks and it’s light sheen matched her glowy look. Her lips were given the Lisa Eldridge treatment which my many of my brides know and love. The Velvet Blush Lightly True Velvet Lip Colourleft Zoe with a luscious, dimensional long-wear pout that was just the right finishing touch.
