It was the 11th of July and the sunshine was just beginning to decide it might make its second apperance of the summer on Thomasin’s beautiful wedding morning. We spent the early hours primping and prepping before she headed off to the incredible grounds of Middleton Lodge Estate for her day celebrating partnership and love with groom James.

It might not have been the blazing season we’d hoped for, but because the North East weather had us feeling hopefully for a bright day ahead we decided to kick things off with the Trinny London BFF SPF30 Cream. Not only was the sun protection important, but the hydrated priming and a lovely radiant, anti redness sheer coverage let her own skin shine. Natural, light and effortless was very much the vibe and this SPF fit the brief perfectly.

This look was all about minimal application with maximal effect, something that sounds easy but takes a lot of practice. Luckily I’ve had a lot! Nailing the all in one skincare was just step one, but it is the most important step for that radiant end result. Any areas that needed extra attention were given the gold star treatment with the Ariane Poole Concealer Palette for the best seamlessly blended concealer that I know will stay looking good all day long.

Whilst natural was the goal, a touch of luxury wasn’t a miss thanks to the Lisa Eldridge True Velvet Lip Colour that left Thomasin’s pout sumptuously soft whilst still modest in hue. Finally bringing a little depth to the look I used the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Eyeliner which is a gorgeous smokey burgundy brown. Not all eyeliner needs to be dark and dramatic, this delicate touch of extra warmth took her bridal style to the next level whilst still being in keeping with the plan.
