Introducing you to the Lost Girls, where are they going? No-one knows, not even them. A free spirited editiorial by Sunday Girl Magazine the energy of this shoot was unreal, the models were incredible in embodying the wild and carefree ‘lost girls’ energy bringing the styling and makeup to life.
My brief was all about recreating the look living outside, using cheeks flushed with colour from the elements and skin glistening from the rays of the sun. Each model got their own shade to rosy their cheeks and give them their own personalised lost look. Using the Precision Colour Pencils by 19/99 beauty for bursts of colour, I took the shade Voros for a true red, Rozsa for some pink shades and Meleg for an orange hue.
Taking the Jo Leversuch Multi Use Powder Brushit was so easy to create diffused blush with these pencils and switch to the Fine Application Brushto instead use them as lip colour, they’re a really versatile little product to have in your bag! For an extra sunkissed accent the Precision Pencil in shade Barna made for perfect freckles that I could dapple across the nose and out on to the cheeks.
Now the colour was covered, it was time to bring the shine. That I’ve been out all day in the sun glow that looks like a natural, hydrated sheen. To avoid any powdery textures at all and really get an authentic feel I used 19/99 Beauty’s High Shine Gloss, a clear, lightweight formula full of hydrating properties. Tapped delicately out on to the high points of the lips, cheeks, brow bones and forehead this really gave a lustrous finish to the whole look and combined with the Precision Pencils made for a really dewy colour.
A shoot good enough to convince you maybe you too, should go get lost and enjoy the great outdoors for a little while! Enjoy, Jo x
