The latest issue of La Di Da magazine I am proud to be interviewed by Editor in Chief Linda Westphal.
Here is the interview and I must mention the amazing truly talented illustrator artist Helen McClafferty.
I am a massive fan of REN Skincare for my own personal use as well as some essentials that I use in my kit for models, private clients around the world. Check out my previous blogs talking about some of my favourite items that have turned into iconic products within the industry.
The official launch of REN Skincare Perfect Canvas is 1st September and I have been secretly trailing this product for the last month.
Perfect Canvas is a silicone-free serum to use after your choice of moisturiser. Apply each morning and massage over your face until it is absorbed and you have your Perfect Canvas...
Veil Cover Cream can be applied directly onto the skin but I do find that using primers are an excellent way to enhance the skin plus to prepare the skin before Veil Cover Cream is applied.
There are so many primers on the market and each primer will behave in a different way. I have listed my top 5 primers that I carry in my kit all the time for my models and private clients around the world.
Do you want that inner glow ?
If you want to create a inner glow on the skin, have dry skin or you like to create an amazing highlight and shimmer effect I like:

Whilst working on the latest La Di Da Magazine editorial shoot, Helen McClafferty was commissioned to draw “ me “ hard at work and some of my must have products whilst on the photo shoot. Below is the finished illustrations:

In February I got to work in New York City for Pratt Institute on their latest lookbook and a chance to work with some amazing creative in the industry.
I wanted to share with you and will share more in the future of how I create the looks which have been published in magazines, online or for campaigns and editorials.
On an evening a strong look is perfect and with the festival season of music and art looming why not embrace this look…..
I am a huge believer in preparing the skin before I apply any make-up on the skin and will spend a good time massaging the face before I apply the skinbase...
As the beauty columnist for La Di Da Magazine I am so excited to see when La Di Da Magazine is released on each issue. I quickly open the copy of the page of my beauty column (this issue it is page 15).
This issue it is about the strength of the red lipstick that truly never goes out of date and can be worn in any season throughout the year. This image was taken from an editorial shoot with Next Clothing for this issue and during the day I created this stunning look with lipstick by Pixi by Petra.

When Unveiled Magazine asked me to create the make-up for these latest images for the Issue 06 I was so excited. My inspiration for this look comes from working backstage on all the catwalk shows in London, Paris and Milan with a mixture of a “ethereal look” taken from the oil paintings who created this magical aspect to the skin. The make-up I used to create this “editorial look” was by Pat McGrath. The skin had this “editorial glow” especially on the cheekbones where it was truly captured by the camera.

As it is coming up to the “Wedding Season”. As well as working all around the world on catwalk shows, editorial photo shoots, look books, campaigns, whilst I am home I love nothing better than being the make-up artist for brides in the UK.

I am so excited to see my latest work in NOCTIS MAGAZINE - " BETWEEN THE LINES"
In February I had the most amazing opportunity to create the make-up and work in NYC for Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. The team were all working on their latest look books with the up and coming designers from the university.
This look in NOCTIS Magazine is all about creating a futuristic aspect to the make-up to make the skin look like sheer cashmere silk and the drama being all about the dark lipstick.
Make-up used to create the look:
Skin moisturiser - Steamcream
Foundation and Concealer...
