January 1st is often a day of interspection for a lot of us, as we consider our new years resolutions and personal goals for the coming 12 months. For me stepping in to 2024 I’ve been reflecting on a chance encounter that occurred late last year (isn’t that weird saying that already!) that really left a lasting positive impression on my work to come. One of my favourite publications Sunday Girl held an incredible event bustling with other business women sharing their talents, and that’s where I met Aisha of Write Yourself Well. As I sat and listened to her performance her artistry instantly resonated with me. Her words felt so deeply passionate and considered, I knew I couldn’t miss the opportunity to connect with her.

We got to chatting and the time flew by as we bonded over shared sentiments of beauty, confidence and moon cycles. Having been ruminating on ways to add to my marketing for Untitled No 1, it felt so cosmically aligned that we had met and our creative perspectives were in sync. Filled with inspiration afterwards I couldn’t wait to commission Aisha to write me some poems, the perfect personality boost to represent everything that Untitled No 1 stands for as a beauty marketplace. We caught up a couple weeks after the event and she got right to work!

As soon as I received the poems I was beside myself with joy, her writing made me, my brand and what I do feel so seen. Capturing the essence of Untitled No 1 perfectly. It was evident in the quality of her work that Aisha had truly taken the time to listen to me before she dove head first into what it means to be your own No 1. I can’t wait to weave these beautiful works into my socials over the next year as Untitled No 1 continues to grow.
