Whilst keeping inspired looking back on last years weddings and reminding myself of the beautiful days to come again, photographer Jo Bradbury was kind enough to share with me some of the beautiful shots she took from Faye and Adam's big day in 2019.
If you're looking for some serious floral envy and inspiration you're in for a treat with this one. With cottage garden blooms adorning every chair, stairway, door and tabletop as well as the gorgeous hair pieces and bouquets you will get your botanical fix from this wedding. The arrangements all by Picked At Dawn perfectly complimented the natural...
It's only been a few months since Charlotte and Daniel's December wedding, but it feels like many more moons ago when we could all gather together and enjoy a beautiful wedding. It's been a tragic few weeks but don't worry I'm not here to talk about the C word, I think we've all had enough virus chat and worry in our lives lately. I think instead it's a great time to remember what we have to look forward to in the future by binging on some serious wedding inspo, and this gallery will certainly do the trick! Looking back on these shots by the fantastic Katy Melling you can really get a sense of the festive...
In a sea of bright and fanciful wedding photography that is gorgeous in its own right, Nigel John brings to life a different energy in his images. Having worked with him in 2019 twice for the weddings of two gorgeous brides I got the opportunity to see him work his magic and the mesmerising images that were produced after the fact. There is such a deep and earthy feel to what he captures that really feels as if you are in a poignant moment with his subjects when you're viewing them. Just a quick scroll through his Instagram is enough to make you instantly fall in love with his work. There were...
This one is a bit of an oldie but a goodie, throwing it back to 2018 at Saltmarshe Hall with major UK Bridal fashion houses Grace Phillips, Ian Stuart & House of Mooshki for the Belle Bridal Magazine editorial Love in Bloom. The concept behind it was to marry bridal and mother of the bride stylings with a strong 1950's vibe and a specific nod to the imitable Jackie O for the mother of the bride looks. The shoot brought classic clean styles with a touch of personality and sass together in an airy minimal setting. Meanwhilst flowery blooms brought a summery punch of colour alongside the statement...
This latest video shoot project I am here to share with you today is an epic one, I am super excited to share with you series 001 in the launch of clothing brand Wreckreation in their collaboration with Shelby American. All working in conjunction with latest film release Le Mans 66 which I totally recommend you go catch in the cinema now! Picture supercharged 80's retro colours and shapes meeting futuristic sports luxe with a healthy punch of cyberpunk neon vibes. It's avantgarde fashion made for the trailblazers and speedracers of tomorrow.
To match this aesthetic I created luxurious...
If you cast your minds back to the end of July this year you might remember that crazy heatwave we had here in Europe. The weather was stunning and I was lucky enough to experience all that sunshine in a truly breathtaking setting in France at the Chateau Challain thanks to a shoot for Belle Bridal Magazine. Although it was beautiful the weather brought it's challenges and you can catch my blog post of behind the scenes with the star products I used to combat the extreme heat here, from making sure things stay put with any sweating to protection from the UV rays!
Today I am here to share with...
Last week that crazy heat wave we were having struck during a major photoshoot I was working on with Belle Bridal Magazine. Working on set on the hottest day of the year was certainly challenging but getting to see the location in all its glory in the sunshine, the gorgeous lavender sunsets and the incredible work the team pulled together made it all worth it. Not to mention all the laughs, wine and cheese we had along the way!
Our set for the few days was the magnificent Chateau Challain, a perfect fairytale chateau in the south western region of France. Built in 1854 by one of the most renowned...
Back in late June I was delighted to have the pleasure of being the make-up artist for Catherine and Charlie's wedding day. Below are some of the photos of the day taken by Katy Melling which beautifully showcase what a lovely day it was. Lartington Hall was the perfect setting with its bright and classic interiors and gardens which you can see have been captured perfectly in these idyllic shots.
Make-up & Skincare
It's wonderful to see Catherine beaming with joy whilst getting ready, I created an elegant flawless base for her with rosy nude tones on the lips and cheeks which paired nicely...
Today we're taking a sneak peak into the pages of Unveiled Magazine issue 11 for the Sakura Bloom fashion editorial by Kristos Kabiotis. I loved working on this chinoiserie inspired editorial with the setting of Lartington Hall providing the perfect backdrop to showcase the gorgeous 'Power of Love' collection of gowns by Caroline Castigliano.
In keeping with the brief I created a timeless chic look with flawless blended skin that complemented the elegance of the shoot. To create this I used Charlotte Tilbury's Exagger-Eyes eye shadow palette as well as their Pillow Talk lipstick and blushers,...
It's Christmas Eve and 2018 is soon coming to a close so I wanted to share with you a set of gorgeous images from one of my last bits of work this year.
However first I wanted to take a moment to reflect on how grateful I am for the work I have had the opportunity to be part of in the last 12 months. To have graced the pages of beautiful magazines such as Jules B, Belle Bridal, La Di Da and Unveiled. To have participated in workshops talks, demos in the UK sharing and doing work to support the wonderful charity the Teenage Cancer Trust. I have been so lucky to travel working fashion shows...
