Another week another set of gorgeous images from my summer of endless, back to back beautiful weddings! Of course Sadhana and James were another unfortunate couple whose wedding planned and been thwarted time and time again by COVID and the ever changing restrictions, but they persevered and finally their magically day rolled around on 6th of September just passed.
Taking up lodgings for the night in Middleton Lodge Estate’s absolutely stunning Farmhouse the wedding reception naturally took place in the breath taking fig house. Light poured in through the plentiful paned windows that line the walls of Fig House on this glorious September day. It’s such a lovely venue to be able to sit and take in the the victorian walled gardens that surround the estate, and after all the rescheduling I can only image how relieved Sadhana and James were to have such a beautiful weather fall on their day.
For the make-up Sadhana had already opted for an incredible flower crown adorned with lots of pink and purple hues and we wanted her look I created to reflect those colours too. Aside from this it was important to Sadhana to have a make-up look that felt modern, fresh but with those afforementioned bursts of colour coming through strong on the lips and eyes. That’s why I reached for Charlotte Tilbury’s Vintage Vamp Luxury Palette, it has this gorgeous deep aubergine colour that brings a really demure softness and colour to the eyes that played off the purples in the flowers wonderfully. After I finished her smokey eyes we brought more of a brighter touch to the lips with SUQQU’s Moisture Rich Lipstick which was the perfect playful pop of colour on her pout. To add impact we then doubled down with the SUQQU liquid and powder blushers on the cheeks too for extra colour and radiance to shine against the fresh skin base created by a lucious Nars and Steamcream combo.
