Viva Magenta Bold & Adventurous Makeup With Ruby & Oscar

Viva Magenta is all the rage for 2023 according to the official Pantone Colour institute and this shoot for Ruby & Oscar’s hasn’t shied away from leaning into the pink craze. As colour of the year, it’s here to embody a fearless empowerment that’s unconventional yet captivating. The makeup on this shoot had to be on par with the bold statement these summer gemstones were making, that’s where my latest obession with Lisa Eldridge’s range comes in.

The True Velvet Lip combo of Lipstick and Gloss in Carnival was exactly the striking pink I was looking for to represent the adventurous spirit of Pantone’s choice this year. It might not be the first thing you’d consider with lip colour, but with the Jo Leversuch Fine Application Brush it’s easy and fun to think outside the box and create a precise liner moment with anything in your kit!

Keeping on theme with the vim and vigor of Viva Magenta and the dazzle of Ruby & Oscar’s jewels I wanted to bring extra glow to this look, this was no time to be modest. Lisa’s highlighting products pack just as much impact as her colour pigments so I knew the Elevated Glow Highlighter would quite literally elevate this look.

With all this inspiration from Viva Magenta this campaign really does feel like a true celebration of Ruby & Oscar’s summer collection, brave, bold and ready for the sunshine!
