Why I love The British Red Cross

The British Red Cross holds an important place in my heart after informing my family of my uncles well being and whereabouts during WW2. He was a bomber pilot who was taken down by the Germans and crashed in Belgium, where a local farmer took him in until they were captured and marched days on end towards Poland and eventually ended up being kept at Stalag Luft II.

Thanks to the Red Cross my family, who were in despair not having heard anything of him for such a long time, received a telegram letting us know he was in good health and at this camp. This piece of hope was so important and we were so lucky that not long after that the Americans liberated the camp and he made it home alive.

The Make-up Lesson

The Red Cross continues today to do the important work of supporting families through tragic war times, that’s why I’ve chosen to support them in their efforts to aid the people of Ukraine in their Crisis Appeal. I am offering 2 hour one to one make-up lessons for £150, which will be donated directly to the British Red Cross.
