One to One Make-Up Lesson

In my previous weekly blogs I have talked about my one to one make-up lessons that I offer to clients.

I really wanted to share with you my experience with a client whom I met for a one to one make-up lesson recently.

When I met this lovely lady she was so nervous and shy as she explained she didn’t bring her make-up bag with her as she didn’t own one and had never worn make-up ever…. my client is 58!

So my first question was why now? What has changed? How do you want the make-up to look and feel?

She replied “it is my daughter’s wedding this year and also I feel that now at my age I should be wearing something to help me create a ‘healthy glow’, but I don’t want to look like I am wearing make-up and also I want to use my fingertips as I will never master the techniques of brushes ooohhh and please do not discuss too many products as this will really bamboozle me”

IMG_0634[1]This was brilliant as there are so many superb products you can use with your fingertips and I have shared with you below the products I recommended for her….. and yes only 6 products were required to create the look she wanted.

During the two hour make-up lesson we discussed each product and got her to apply them with my guidance so she could understand how to use them herself in the future. After the two hour lesson my client was beaming, full of confidence and overwhelmed at the look she could achieve herself. For me it was wonderful to see the huge smile on her face.
