It was third time lucky for Luisa and Paul when it came to planning their wedding through a pandemic, as it has been for so many other of my brides. That lucky number three keeps coming up! It was really worth the wait for this gorgeous pair as their wedding turned out to be such a magical affair. So come take a look at these amazing sneak peaks at their wedding album. find out more about their day and Luisa’s warm smokey make-up look.
The sun shined gloriously all day long on the 4th of September, finally their third chosen date finally had come around. With wedding ceremony held at their family home it was a really special and sentimental moment for the couple that had a very intimate feeling. After all the stay at home messaging through out the pandemic as they were planning and rescheduling their wedding, it feels quite fitting that is actually where their special day took place in the end!
The marquee set up in the garden twinkled with fairly lights and lanterns long into the night to light up the beautiful space adorned with gorgeous florals. It was the perfect environment for lots of love and laughter whilst they partied the night away and finished everything off with sparklers and fireworks!
When I first met Luisa at her trial she decided on a soft smokey look on the eyes which I created using the Iconic Dolce Vita Luxury Eyeshadow Palette by Charlotte Tilbury, now known as the Bella Sofia! This little quad might be small in size but it’s mighty in performance. I can see why they’ve been rebranding it to as the Bella Sofia to get it the attention it deserves because the four beautiful shades blend in perfect harmony for the ideal warm smokey bronzed eye on so many skin tones but especially for Luisa’s whole look.
When discussing the look for her skin we decided to keep the look natural and glowing; my perfect signature look created by Jo. To compliment the eyeshadow look we added in some bronzer using a Chanel & Charlotte Tilbury combo for extra effect with the Shiseido Minimalist Whipped Powder Blush to keep things looking rosy amongst all these earthy tones.
