Wanted to share with you a blog about the first bride to have her wedding held at Thorp Perrow stately home nr Bedale in North Yorkshire.
I met Louise last year at a wedding fayre. Louise wanted make-up for herself and her two bridesmaids. The look Louise wanted was a natural make-up to reflect each individual person and to have the overall colour scheme tied with the bridesmaids gorgeous rich chocolate coloured dresses. When i arrive at the family home in the middle of January, the weather was glorious, the sun shining and relatively warm for winter time. The bride and bridesmaids each had fur shawls to keep the chill off. Everyone in the household were excited and buzzing around getting ready for the wedding. Dad even cooked bacon sandwiches to keep them going until reception at Thorp Perrow!.
The wedding was held at Thorp Perrow stately home nr Bedale North Yorkshire. The couple are the first to be married outside the Ropner family who have had the grand home and one of the finest private collections of trees and shrubs in the country. The 85 acre arboretum is unique to Britain was created by Colonel Sir Leonard Ropner (1895- 1977).
Lovely comment from the bride:
Jo did a great job of our make-up on my wedding day, each of us had our own slightly different look but ones that tied together with each other and the overall colour scheme perfectly. The make-upused lasted all day and all night with just a little extra lippy needed!. I would definately recommend having Jo to do your make-up on your wedding day. It was very calming way to start the day!.
