La Roche-Posay . The Anthelios Sun Care Range

Summertime has begun and as you will know in my previous blog I talked about getting the summer glow on your skin with the Hard Chemistry Glow “Oil” self – tanning product.

This week I thought I would review the sun care range from La Roche-Posay.

Over the years (and it seems to be getting worse as I am getting older) I have noticed my skin not only doesn’t like too much sun but also it struggles with sun cream.   I can manage a couple of days and then by the 3rd/4th day my skin becomes blotchy, itchy and heat rashes occur on my skin.

Of course, being in the industry, I am fully aware the need to protect my skin whilst I am on holiday abroad or even walking though the countryside on a day off in the United Kingdom. I, therefore, decided to give Le Roche-Posay Sun Care Range a try.

How did I get on with the La Roche-Posay Antehlios Sun Care Range?

I used the Ultra Light Spray SPF 30 for the body and the Cream in SPF 30 for the face.  I can certainly rate it 10/10.  Below are some of the reasons why I loved these products:

  • Light texture for both the face and the body
  • No smell or scent to the product range
  • No sticky feeling left on the skin and I could apply foundation over the top of the face sun care range
  • Excellent sun tanning results with no burning to my skin
  • 10/10 as I didn’t get any heat rashes or blocked pores from the sun cream

Would I buy this product again?   YES most certainly as it is an excellent range and I love the ethos and concept of the brand with the commitments that La Roche-Posay show to customers on helping us look after an extremely large organ! The Skin.

For further information on the sun care range and also of the commitments of La Roche-Posay check out their website:

I cant guarantee that all of the make-up and skincare products I recommend will suit you. I only use products I personally think are good having tried them on myself and my clients but everyone’s skin is different and it’s possible to be allergic to anything. Wherever possible, test products out on yourself before purchasing.
