Spring is almost here and it’s time to get in the mood for the fast approaching wedding season, I’ve got the perfect throw back for it! A true summertime wedding from 2022, Bride Julia and her Groom Christopher had a traditional ceremony at a beautiful local church before continuing the celebrations at Wynyard Hall.
It was a bright and sunny morning and Julia was beaming equally with nerves and excitement as we prepared her for the day of romance ahead. The brief was to create a makeup look to enhance the elegance of the already wonderful bride, taking vision from the delicate bouquet of blush pink flowers she had selected. These soft delicate colours had such a beautiful spring vibe to them, the perfect inspiration for this time of year.
It was truly amazing to see Julia wearing her veil over her face as per truly traditional weddings as she entered the church with her proud father by her side. It created such a magical moment of a reveal as the veil was lifted where she could wow everyone with how truly breathtaking her full bridal look ended up being.
The look for the makeup was to create a smokey eye that carried golden hues, matched with a dark brown liner instead of black to bring equal amounts of drama and softness to the eye. Carrying through with that brief the eyeliner was gently smudged out for a diffused feel. Taking a more delicate approach to the lips we opted for the Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Penelope Pink for its soft pink tones and silky satin finish.
