A couple of weeks ago I had a rare ! day off, I should rephrase that a rare ! weekend off from work with my really good friend for her birthday.

As a treat we decided to book into Hotel Du Vin Harrogate as we both love Harrogate and Hotel Du Vin had offered a “special offer “ to stay on a Sunday night.

On arrival we were greeted by a welcoming reception team who wanted to check if our journey to Harrogate was a success and assisted us to the parking at the front of the hotel.     As a truly amazing surprise for my friend, we booked in one of the loft suite bedrooms “Dom Perignon.”.

If you have a birthday celebration, special romantic occasion or wish to just treat yourself for an opulent experience, book the Dom Perignon.

I really didn’t want to leave the room as I was starting to chill on the 8ft bed falling asleep with having such a busy couple of months with work.   Make myself a cup of tea, where the team brought up some soya milk for me on request, and dived under the hot monsoon shower with luxury complimentary toiletries from REN Clear Skincare.

Headed to the bar/restaurant area for a cheeky glass of champagne well why not? I was staying in the Dom Perignon after all.    The three course meal was simply delicious and hearty at the same time of local produce outsourced from the delightful region of North Yorkshire.   We finished the fabulous evening with a cheeky Disaronno or two.

I really would highly recommend Hotel Du Vin Harrogate for the warm welcoming staff , the luxury room “Dom Perignon” to stay in for the best night sleep to scrumptious restaurant food with a wonderful array of wine and spirits at the bar.
