The coveted no makeup makeup look was on the menu for bride Hannah for her wedding with now husband Joe. It was the perfect choice for her bridal look and their venue of choice.
A ceremony and reception situated in the heart of lake district, they took to the waters of lake windemere by boat and celebrated the night away at the Jetty Museum. A true celebration of love in a natural setting meant using makeup to uplift and celebrate the natural beauty of Hannah too.
People will spend hours meticulously trying to refine the art of fake freckles, but Hannah is one of the lucky whose face is naturally adorned with a sun kissed sprinkling of beautiful freckles that we definitely wanted to shine for her wedding day. That meant using a small amount of Ariane Poole’s Ultitmate Face Tint so that we could build in places we needed more colour and buff out in those we needed less for a truly custom sheer coverage for Hannah’s face.
Keeping the colours close to neutral we used two of my bridal faves for the lips and eyes! MAC’s Paint Pot in Groundwork is a neutral taupe that works on such a wide range of skin tones, adds a level of depth to the eyelids with out too much fanfare, subtle, subdued and just what a natural look bride needs.
Charlotte Tilbury’s Pillow Talk nude pink lipstick is probably my most used bridal shade, its a great way to add gentle pink colour to a look that is soft and dreamy. We weren’t however feeling matte for Hannah so we layered with Fenty’s Gloss Bomb in Fu$$y to get a dewy finish we were looking for.
I hope you’re ready for a little scroll through some seriously stunning wedding photography that truly takes you on the journey through their beautiful wedding. From wedding morning to evening, I love seeing Hannah’s makeup still looking fantastic as she parties the night away!
Enjoy, Jo x
