The smallest wedding in the world… Okay I might be exaggerating but when Covid restrictions were still hitting weddings hard not so long ago, illustrators Francis and Nick decided to tie the knot just them and two friends! A four person ceremony, what a lovely intimate way to really make the moment special.
Just because it was a little ceremony doesn’t mean Francis couldn’t go big on somethings! Her bouquet by Willow and Bear Floral Design was an explosion of colour and texture with such a playful variety of gorgeous blooms it really did make for a lovely piece for our little photoshoot. You see there was no photographer at this wedding, all the pictures here are ones taken by me! Francis also went big on making sure she felt like the best version of herself hiring me for the day to do her make-up.
She opted for a blushing bride look with warm gently flushed cheeks from Suqqu’s Liquid Blush combined with the Chanel Les Beige Bronzer bringing some shining sun kissed beauty to her face. Using a combo of Nars products I created my signature perfected base to build this glow onto. Tying in with the warm theme I brought delicious chocolatey tones to the lids with Shiseido Kajal Inkartist in Tea House and MAC’s paint pot in groundwork on the lids for an inviting eye look. Back to more Nars for on the lips in Dolce Vita which is a lovely dusty rose colour that matched the Francis’ tinted cheeks.
