My friend Caroline Shafto has a business called Peppermint Giraffe.  She has just recently come back from The Clothes Show in Birmingham which was a success for her.  Peppermint Giraffe specialises in unique women’s new and recycled customised one-off clothing with a slight punk influence.

Before she took her brand to The Clothes Show Caroline had asked a couple of local suppliers to get together to arrange a photoshoot  to have some images for her website and advertising.  Weeks before the shoot was arranged Caroline had sent myself and hairdresser Adrian of ChocolateHair Styling a mood board detailing the style of looks she wanted to create to influence her clothes.

Photographer James of The Studio by Jaymz had sourced the location, a derelict building.  The atmosphere on this Monday morning was cold grim but perfect for the shoot and ideas that Caroline had wanted.  James and his assistant Natalie had began working out lighting and focus for the shoot, to enable to get the best shots for Caroline.

Finally the last model was Caroline herself, looking amazing.
