This week I’m sharing with you my work with END. to mark the 35th anniversary of the Air Max 1. They were celebrating in style with the ‘La Ville-Lumière’ release especially for the anniversary and had me on board to create a look for the shoot. They had asked for a soft matte skin base which was perfect play off the harsh urban environment and the energy of these effervescent pastel sneakers.
It was nice to mix things up after playing with a lot of glow and shine in my work lately, so I was excited I got to do a more neutral matte effect. I achieved this by prepping the skin with a delicate amount of Steamcream for moisturising before going in with the Ariane Poole Pore Perfecting Primer which is oil free and perfect to neutralise any shine left behind from the moisturising stage.
I then worked with some Ariane Poole Ultimate Face Tint but created a more flat finish to the skin by adding in Nars Soft Matte Complete Concealer. This concealer is one of the top ones I recommend to my brides and lesson clients because it’s just so reliable, accessible and has such a beautiful finish. You can keep it matte or mix up with dewy products for a glow.
The colour make-up was kept to a minimum using a light touch of some SUQQU Blushers and Lipsticks that have a matte finish to keep to the flow of the whole shoot. You can catch more about these fresh new trainers and the shoot here at END.
