It’s so great to already have work coming out that I’ve been part of post Lockdown no 1, it was safe to say I was raring to get started on this shoot that was booked in just as work opened back up again for MUA’s. So to now see the final results in the limelight is such a proud moment and a reminder to keep me going through the potential woes of lockdown no 2 whilst we figure out how that affects work again. Anyway focusing on something beautiful to uplift the spirits is always a welcome distraction from 2020, so here’s my latest work on the QP Jewellers photo shoot for their Autumn Winter 2020 collection. Keep reading you to hear all about what I thought of Delilah Cosmetics for this shoot and get my handy affiliate code for a 20% discount on their products. Maybe along the way you’ll even spy the perfect Christmas present for that special some one too, be it Delilah or QP Jewellers!
QP Jewellers describe themselves as established purveyors of fine gemstone and diamond jewellery. Looking to the future, they create cutting edge gemstone designs shaped with an intricate array of different cuts, hues and settings. You can rest assured this is jewellery that aspires to the very zenith of quality. Since they started, many years ago, their goal has always been simple: they want to offer an honest, ethical service predicated upon a strong appreciation for new and unique jewellery. At the same time they want to couple their knowledge and care with the ability to bring you genuine diamond and gemstone jewellery at the lowest possible prices.
“It has always been our intention to be original, bold and, most importantly, ethical.”
To create these looks I used Delilah Cosmetics who are an awesome brand with a truly ethical approach to the beauty industry. All their products are vegan, paraben free, cruelty free and an absolute dream to work with. The application of their products was so easy and smooth, you can really feel the benefits of the high quality formulas as they work like magic on the skin leaving it looking radiant and natural.
It’s a true test of quality to use products on a studio shoot, sometimes ethical brands unfortunately trade out their quality for more conscious ingredients and that shows up on high quality photography. This isn’t the case with Delilah as you can see on this stunning model for the QP Jewellers shoot, she is positively glowing and perhaps that’s partly because she knows no animals were harmed in the making of her make-up look!
Some of the key essentials I used were:
Delilah Cosmetics were the perfect brand for bringing that fresh faced warm glow to this romantic autumnal shoot and I am glad I switched things up for the day and tried something new. I’m sure I will be selecting some of their products for my kit again in the future.
