Chubby Stick Moisturizing Lip Colour Balm is a lip treatment with sheer colour that relieves dry, cracked lips and provides immediate moisturisation.   When i stood at the Clinique counter i was taken aback by how many colours to choose from…i stood for around 10 minutes trying to decide, so be prepared to try and figure out what colour you would like to treat yourself.   The colour i purchased was Chunky Cherry 05 as i wanted a red tone coloured lipstick to add some colour to these dull summer July days.   My other options for the winter will be the “on trend purple”  Voluptuous Violet.  The ease of using the pencil thats look like a huge crayon from your school days is so easy to apply to the lips.  Immediately my lips felt moisturised and left a sheer hint of colour.

My second purchase was the NARS Soft Touch Shadow Pencil – I purchased shade Calabria

This soft touch eyeshadow pencil is made by NARS and is part of the Summer 2012 collection.   I love the smokey eye look and the ease of using a jumbo pencil to cover the eyelids was just so easy to apply with almost a smudge effect. I applied the pencil under the eye to double up as a eyeliner to give you a stronger smokey eye.  Like the Clinique product i was spoilt for choice of colours but i opted to go for a shade called  Calabria which is named after the region in south of Napels..its a soft plum colour which is “on trend” for the rest of 2012.

Both these items are ideal for travelling or working away from home and so easy to apply.    I will be making more purchases for the Autumn/Winter 2012 just need to decide which colours to buy!
