Showcasing Avon’s Distillery Range at the Northern Wedding Show
Late last year I was asked to head up a make-up team for the latest Northern Wedding Show by Belle Bridal. This year’s partner for the show and demonstrations was Avon. They might not be everyone’s first thought when it comes to bridal make-up, but with their new range Distillery it would be an oversight not to consider them for your big day’s look. Distillery is all about clean living, creating beautiful products with out compromising the planet with their vegan ingredients, ethical mindset and eco conscious packaging choices. With all this in mind the products still gave the high end feel which I get from many of the other brands I use. The packaging still felt sleek and stylish as well as the product quality and textures still being luxurious with fantastic pay off. Avon have struck the balance perfectly between environmentally friendly and high quality.
Today I wanted to share with you my favourite products from the new range that I used to create the looks during the make-up demonstration and for the Wedding Show. Whether you’ve got a wedding coming up, or you’re just looking for new additions to your make-up bag, these are all definitely worth your money.

Purify Facial Oil £22
During the make-up demonstration I wanted to create a real glow about the look for dewy fresh faced skin. This oil is packed full of Vitamin E which instantly made the models skin look and feel awake and alive. The perfect starting base skincare wise for this type of make-up look that only required a small drop thanks to its super concentrated waterless formula.
Lip Rush £12
These lipsticks are my favourite of the range, an absolutely amazing product. Both me and the models at the show were a huge fan of the texture on the lip as well as loving their staying power, they lasted most of the day in an intense show environment! I definitely recommend that if you’re looking for a lipstick with great pigment and long lasting colour then these are the ones for you.
Shadow Shots Eyeshadow £10
Just like the lipstick, the pigments of these colours are excellent and they are super easy to blend into a gentle eyeshadow or dramatic smoky eye depending on your desired look. There are seven vibrant creamy colours to choose from that come in their own individual pans. I love this as it’s ideal for travelling, stopping your bag being bulky and keeps the makeup application super easy.
