Candid wedding morning makeup getting ready at Middleton Lodge

Come behind the scenes as I spend the morning with Bride Zoe, as beautiful light poured in through the windows of Middleton Lodge it was the perfect moment to capture those candid wedding morning moments and share the magic of getting your makeup done before your big day.

It’s just another day in the life for me, but a great insight into what to expect for soon to be brides. We often see the final results in beautifully shot and edited pictures by all the fantastic photographers of the North East, but sometimes it’s equally as good to see some unfiltered iphone photos that give a more natural look into a wedding morning with me!

Makeup wise Zoe had asked for a style that felt timeless, elegant and sophisticated with my signature perfected skinbase. So to create her ideal glowing skin we started with the Poco Beauty Universal Glow Treatment as the dewy skin prep that corrects and illumiates from the very start of the routine. Then to bring that extra pop to her face the Lisa Eldridge Elevated Glow Highlighter and Skin and Makeup Enhancing Mist tied the whole look together for a really healthy and elegant radiance that looks like it comes from within.

One of the stars of the show for Zoe’s look was the NARS Afterglow Liquid Blusher in Dolce Vita, the perfect amount of diffuse colour and had the perfect sheen for her glowy look, I love the way it looks in some of these photos as the sun beams down on her face.
