The inspiration for the make-up came from the Hollywood glamour of 1940’s with the strong emphasis on highlight, contour and sculpting of the cheekbones with strong defined eyes and lips. The image for the front cover of the magazine was to be printed in black and white but there is one colour to view as well.     Early morning 3am start for a shoot for a new brand The Beehive Brand.  Four female models and two male models all needing make-up.  We started the morning at Be Premiere Hair salon in Darlington where i worked closely with James Reid hairdresser to start prepping hair and make-up. We all headed off to a secluded location on the outskirts of Darlington probably only known to the 'Dawn Army' the factory workers who used to make their way to work at dawn, silently and on mass.. on their way into town by pedal power or on foot. This recent image was used for the latest Look Magazine for the week of 26th April 2013.   The photo shoot was for Rock n Rose and their new collection of fun retro sunglasses which you can purchase on their website www.rocknrose.co.uk         How did i achieve this look for the shoot?
